Anyone who comes to God through Christ is brought into the family of God and made a part of God’s Church. As the Church, God’s people are to live set-apart lives that mirror God’s holiness, care for other members of the family of God, and spread the good news about Jesus to every part of the globe! To be God’s people means to be a part of His Church.
And God hasn’t only called people who live in one specific country or region of the world. He has called people from all over the globe to be a part of His special family, the Church! This means that the Church is made up of people who have come to God through Christ in every generation and in every part of the world. God’s plan for His people isn’t small – it’s huge!
Tiny Church History is an invitation to you and your child to learn all about God’s great plan of redemption as it unfolds, from the days of the early Church to today!

This workbook follows the timeline of the Church from the days of the apostles in the book of Acts, and tracing it in major movements through today. What denominational background is this written for? As with all of our resources, this workbook seeks to teach historically orthodox Christian doctrine, without getting into denominational matters. This means that we will teach a view of the Trinity that is consistent with the historic creeds and confessions of the Christian faith (like the Apostles' Creed and the Nicene Creed), but this workbook will not address areas of denominational differences like baptism, for instance.
